I turned around and ordered the Dolphin brand pump, paying 3 times more (counting shipping).I'm happy with the Dolphin pump.The one here is clearly a knock-off from a company in China using sub-grade materials. It is very flimsy and weak, one of the sections of the lower skirt fell off and it hasn't been mounted on a bottle yet. Out of the box the silicone seal was dirty and the plastic parts were scratched as though it had been used already.The Dolphin tubes are made of durable material (I think nylon) I recognize from my camping gear.This one is I think polypropylene. Don't waste your money, buy the name-brand pump made in Korea.

(More customer reviews)To my dogs, this product should be called Le BeastRo.While the engineer in me is impressed at its simple function (and I should say that the product works perfectly), the dog owner in me is a bit disappointed.

My two dogs nearly dehydrated out of fear of drinking from Le Bistro.When it refills, it makes a rather loud "glubburp" noise like from your office water cooler.This sends them running to all corners of the house fearing for their lives.

I had to give up after 3 days when they would lick moist cement during walks just to get the water they so badly wanted.

Hopefully your dogs have firmer constitutions than mine, but if they're prone to fearing sudden noises, I would seriously reconsider purchasing this product.

(More customer reviews)I recommend purchasing these machines straight from the manufacturer, he'll give you all the info you need and it is less expensive.Just google "precipitation water generators".The man is brilliant and is inventing simply amazing things, such as these water generators.

I searched for years to figure out how to filter out all the chemicals, metals, bacteria, prescription medications, ect. that is contaminating the municipal drinking water.This is it.The filtration process in this unit alone is probably enough to filter out most everything from the city drinking water, but even better; since the water you'll be drinking comes from the humidity, none of that junk is there to begin with.

The higher the humidity level in your area, the quicker and more efficiently it will make water.

It took a while to get the new appliance smell out of the drinking water but after that, the water coming from it was, without a doubt, the cleanest tasting drinking water I've ever tasted.My friend told me it was like drinking snow and I know it's even better than that.

However, I speak of the unit in past tense because currently I am not using it.Unfortunately, I let mine sit for quite some time and mold grew in the collection tank.The unit cycles the water to keep it purified, but when there is enough mold growing it just can't be filtered well enough and it mold gets in your glass.
For this reason, I had originally planned to rate this appliance with four stars.But to downplay such an amazing piece of equipment because of my own neglect is arrogantly ignorant.So my suggestion: Use it and follow the recommended cleaning instructions.

If I could make one improvement to this machine it would be to have an option to keep the unit on but be able to turn off the water production.

(More customer reviews)I had been using the smarller Britta pitcher(holds 5 glasses).That works wonderfully by the way,just too small for larger families or seriouswater drinkers. The only complaint with that was the size caused me to have to fill it constanly as I drink a lot of water. So I decided to upgrade. First I purchased the faucet mount filter and was disappointed.The thing moves slower than molassas!I returned that and was going to get a standard pitcher filter setup but decided to go with this one because it was onlyfour dollars more than a pitcher that held ten glasses of water.This provides 18 glasses of the best tasting water ever.I live in an area where our water is reputed to be among the best in the country(at least that what the local officials say) and this only improves on it!!Now I fill this up,put it on a shelf in the fridge and voila,I have great tasting ice cold water at my fingertips.I think this is much more cost effective than buying bottled water.The best part of it all?My kids have now become water drinkers!!It might be because of the easy to use tap,which by the way makes this much more convienant to use as opposed to the pitcher.Although they swear that they drink more water now because it "just tastes better".
I am, so far, very pleased with this sytem.I think it is a wise investment.
Great tasting water without the chlorine smell or taste at a great price!It doesn't get much better than that as far as I can see!!!!!!!

Before I started drinking alkaline water I was bloated, tired and had an array of other health issues like IBS. (More customer reviews)This is a great water filter and it gets plenty of use in my household.If anything I could say "I wish it held more water,"(I drink 3+ litres of water a day and it seems that I am always filling the darned thing up) - but that would be an unreasonable request.Who would want a dispenser so large that it would be unwieldy to carry to the refrigerator?No one - not even me.So I bought a second one so that one of them is always full!This dispenser is slim so that I can easily fit two side by side in my refrigerator. (Can't have too much of a good thing!)And this filter/dispenser is definitely good - it has a large fill "basket" and the 2 stage filter produces water that is completely taste and odor free.I could easily tell the difference in my drinking water!Lastly, the filters (with usage indicators) are long-lasting.I have filled my first dispenser twice a day for 1 1/2 months and it still hasn't reached the half way point.Very impressive results!Highly recommend.
