Review of Igloo 8242 Black Plastic Cup Dispenser

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I am a mowing and mulching contractor in the Baltimore, MD Area.I purchased this item for use with my Igloo 5 gallon plastic water cooler that lives inside of my closed landscape trailer.I wanted to provide easy access to a supply of paper cups to make hydrating on a hot day easier and neater.

The product does do what it claims - it keeps a whole sleeve of paper cone cups right beside the cooler for ready use. What it does not do, is keep ALL of the cups in place and ready for use in a moving landscape trailer. The movement and motion of the trailer while underway results in finding 2, 3, or more cups on the floor when I arrive at my next stop!Great for the paper cup business, but wasteful for me.

I can only assume that this product was not designed for the purpose for which I have chosen.I am working on modifications (fewer cups in the dispenser, adjustments to the cup release tensioner) but have yet to find the answer.

Long story short - great product (works great on the same jug at my favorite golf course) just not designed to be on the job while the jug is in motion!I will figure this out, just don't plan to use it for this purpose (and there are many guys out there with this jug in their trailers and on their trucks) right out of the box!Maybe now I know why this dispenser is NOT on most of these jugs that I see in my industry.

Review of Cuisinart GF-80 Cleanwater Countertop Replacement Filter, White

(More customer reviews)I love my Cuisinart Clean Water Machine. These are the filters that it uses.I have had the first filter in the machine for four months. There are two people in the family but we do have guests quite often. I highly recommend this product and every other Cuisinart product I own.

Review of PUR DS-1800Z 2-Stage Water Dispenser

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a great water filter and it gets plenty of use in my household. If anything I could say "I wish it held more water,"(I drink 3+ litres of water a day and it seems that I am always filling the darned thing up) - but that would be an unreasonable request.Who would want a dispenser so large that it would be unwieldy to carry to the refrigerator? No one - not even me.So I bought a second one so that one of them is always full! This dispenser is slim so that I can easily fit two side by side in my refrigerator. (Can't have too much of a good thing!)And this filter/dispenser is definitely good - it has a large fill "basket" and the 2 stage filter produces water that is completely taste and odor free.I could easily tell the difference in my drinking water!Lastly, the filters (with usage indicators) are long-lasting.I have filled my first dispenser twice a day for 1 1/2 months and it still hasn't reached the half way point.Very impressive results!Highly recommend.

Product Description:
Keep your water clear of chemicals and odors with this dispenser from PUR. Its advanced filtration system reduces more contaminants (lead, copper, zinc, etc.) than any other pour-through filter. Plus, the dispenser's narrow, sleek build fits neatly in the refrigerator or sink, while handles make it easy to fill and carry. Each filter has a lifespan of about one to two months (or roughly 40 gallons of water). A handy gauge indicates when the filter needs to be replaced. Clean the dispenser with mild soap and a dry towel.
