I purchased this unit believing it had what the description claimed it would; the hot\cold capability with the child safety on the hot dispenser. When I received the unit, it only had cold and room temp. I called Aquaverve and they wanted me to pay shipping to send this unit back and pay shipping to send a new one to me plus pay the difference between the hot\cold and cold\room temp units. Not going to happen.
I called Amazon and they said Aquaverve is responsible for uploading their own description and images, that amazon had not misrepresented the unit. Amazon opened a claim against Aquaverve to get my money back but Aquaverve said it will never happen. Avoid the hassle and stay away from Aquaverve who has obviously misrepresented the item, by mistake or not they are not willing to make it good.
As far as the actually water cooler goes, we have not been able to use it. It had better be far superior to others at this price range for this amount of money. I would revise this rating if Aquaverve pulled up its boot straps and did the right thing.

Aquaverve called me directly (management) a few days after posting this and was more than happy to replace the cooler at no cost for shipping to us. The original representative must have just been a dud. They were extremely helpful and friendly with great service. I am somewhat pleased with how this has turned out; however the representative had my credit card authorized 4 times at one point placing our account in jeopardy of bouncing several checks. I would not recommend Aquaverve to my friends or family after the company ignored my inquiries for the authorizations on my account.

The water cooler itself has been great so far. The hot water is steaming hot and the cold water will freeze in the dispenser if you turn it up to maximum. Longevity of this has yet to be determined.
