(More customer reviews)I ordered an Avanti WDE98PS water cooler through Amazon.It was shipped by a third party as Amazon often does.The cooler arrived broken.The cold side did not work at all.Now I'm not rating this a 1 star (would love to give it zero) because it was broken.That can happen with any product.What matters is how the company you buy from deals with you when there is a problem.

I called Avanti to request warranty service and was told outright that Amazon is not an authorized vendor of Avanti and the warranty is void.That's it, end of story, I'm stuck with a $170 broken water cooler.

My advice to you if you need a water cooler is to go with a different company.As I don't own another brand (yet) I can't offer any advice as to what model might be better, but stay away from this company.They don't stand behind their products and WILL leave you hanging if you buy from them.
